Need advice: Intermittent metallic rattle after cold start

For the first few seconds after a cold start I hear a metallic rattle, then it disappears and won't come back once the engine is warm. No warning lights and it drives normally. Has anyone chased something like this without just replacing random parts?

I wouldn't throw parts yet. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2025 Porsche Macan, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Save the big job until that test fails. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2025 Porsche Macan and see if the fault moves. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Was this after sitting overnight? Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2025 Porsche Macan catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2025 Porsche Macan is losing coolant with no puddle. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2025 Porsche Macan in Atlanta. Was this after sitting overnight? Not driving it hard until I know more.
