Need advice: Porsche Cayman purchase: how much weight do you give a borescope?

2007 Porsche Cayman S, about 14,500 miles. Looking at an older Cayman S with good records. I keep seeing buyers emphasize borescope/PPI work on this generation. For someone vetting listings, what would make you walk away before spending money on a full inspection? Any data points from owners would help. What am I missing?

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2007 Porsche Cayman so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “porsche cayman purchase: how much weight do,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. That's my plan before I call anyone.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If one piece looks too good on the 2007 Porsche Cayman, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2007 Porsche Cayman. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
