New model reveal: what matters beyond the headline specs?

EuroRoadie58Community StarterJul 16, 20262025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid LimitedDallas–Fort Worth
A new model just dropped and the headline numbers look good, but I'm more interested in curb weight, wheel/tire sizes, real rear-seat room, charging/fueling, repairability and what features are locked behind packages. Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Hyundai Tucson — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Any freeze-frame data saved? Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2025 Hyundai Tucson charge sessions. That's where I'd start. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2025 Hyundai Tucson, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “what matters beyond the headline specs,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Leave the alerts on the 2025 Hyundai Tucson so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2025 Hyundai Tucson in Dallas–Fort Worth. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

Update: the cheap test changed the symptom, so I'm not throwing parts yet. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2025 Hyundai Tucson so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

A shop burned me once by skipping that step. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
