Question: Best road-trip car you have actually owned

HybridMom33Community StarterMar 28, 20262021 Audi A6 PrestigePortland
Not asking for magazine picks. Which car you've personally owned was best for long-distance driving once you factor seats, range, noise, cargo, driver assists and fatigue? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. A written buyer’s order on the 2021 Audi A6 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “best road-trip car you have actually owned,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Fair point. Counterpoint: If one piece looks too good on the 2021 Audi A6, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Call your insurer in Portland before you fall in love with the 2021 Audi A6. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2021 Audi A6 in Portland. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'd rather be boring and correct. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Quick add on that: Call your insurer in Portland before you fall in love with the 2021 Audi A6. Do that before you talk monthly again. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

If I were shopping this, if they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2021 Audi A6 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'll update if anything new shows up.

I would not stare at the monthly. Two 2021 Audi A6 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. A written buyer’s order on the 2021 Audi A6 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “best road-trip car you have actually owned,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
