Question: Porsche Cayman purchase: how much weight do you give a borescope?

2007 Porsche Cayman S, about 96,000 miles. Looking at an older Cayman S with good records. I keep seeing buyers emphasize borescope/PPI work on this generation. For someone vetting listings, what would make you walk away before spending money on a full inspection? Any data points from owners would help.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2007 Porsche Cayman numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. On “porsche cayman purchase: how much weight do,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the whole play. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2007 Porsche Cayman and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2007 Porsche Cayman in North Jersey with 96,000 miles. Stop there until you know. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
