Question: Would you pay more for documentation than lower mileage?

Comparing two older enthusiast cars: one has lower mileage but thin history, the other has higher mileage with years of invoices and owner notes. Assuming both inspect well, how much value do you put on records? Any data points from owners would help.

I would not stare at the monthly. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 BMW i4 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. This is from a 2024 BMW i4 in Denver / Front Range. Did the worksheet show tax yet? That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 BMW i4 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2024 BMW i4 in Denver / Front Range. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. Sleeping on the number either way.

I would not stare at the monthly. In Denver / Front Range, insurance quotes flipped a 2024 BMW i4 comparison for me more than the sale price did. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. That's the whole play. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.
