Recall shows for my model but not my VIN

2013 Infiniti G37 xS, about 118,000 miles. I saw a recall announcement that includes my model year, but my VIN currently shows no open recall. Is that usually because only a subset is affected, or can VIN databases lag behind an announcement? I'm in Texas.

New-model numbers always look better than curb weight and tire size. If this is a 2027 reveal, I wouldn't map it onto today's 2013 Infiniti G37 ownership costs yet. That's where I'd start. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? This is the version I'd tell a friend.

New-model numbers always look better than curb weight and tire size. On a 2013 Infiniti G37, I'd care more about the remedy and downtime than the press wording. That's where I'd start. Any freeze-frame data saved? Doing the boring step first on purpose.
