Would you pay more for documentation than lower mileage?

SmoothWeekend20Community StarterAug 28, 20262023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 LimitedOrange County
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Limited, about 62,000 miles. Comparing two older enthusiast cars: one has lower mileage but thin history, the other has higher mileage with years of invoices and owner notes. Assuming both inspect well, how much value do you put on records?

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Ask for out-the-door on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. If they balk, that's your answer. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I would not stare at the monthly. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Orange County with 62,000 miles. Any freeze-frame data saved? Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: A written buyer’s order on the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “would you pay more for documentation than,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. In Orange County, insurance quotes flipped a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 comparison for me more than the sale price did. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. I'll update if anything new shows up.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 numbers without them. If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 in Orange County with 62,000 miles. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'd rather be boring and correct. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.
