2013 Infiniti G37 xS — weird vibration only between 62–70 mph

EuroRoadie58Community StarterDec 9, 20252013 Infiniti G37 xSDMV / Maryland
Car is smooth around town, but on the highway I get a vibration in the steering wheel and seat between about 62 and 70 mph. Above that it actually gets a little better. Tires look okay to me. Where would you start before I start throwing parts at it? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Log the conditions before you spend. Two 2013 Infiniti G37s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “weird vibration only between 62–70 mph,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2013 Infiniti G37, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. I'd rather pay for diagnosis than a second guess-repair.

If it were in my driveway, a pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2013 Infiniti G37 is losing coolant with no puddle. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2013 Infiniti G37 in DMV / Maryland. When does it actually happen? Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

Ask what changed right before it started. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2013 Infiniti G37 does it — then decide on parts. That's the branch I'd chase this week. The universe charges extra for guessing. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

If it were in my driveway, loaded-suspension checks on the 2013 Infiniti G37 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2013 Infiniti G37 in DMV / Maryland. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
