2015 Volkswagen Golf — first used-oil analysis: what matters?

2015 Volkswagen Golf TDI, about 111,500 miles. I am thinking about sending an oil sample to establish a baseline. For a normal street engine, which trends are actually useful over time and which one-off numbers cause unnecessary panic? I am in Atlanta. What would you check next?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2015 Volkswagen Golf in Atlanta, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “first used-oil analysis: what matters,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Was this after sitting overnight? I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2015 Volkswagen Golf, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
