2016 Audi A4 — first HPDE in a stock street car

2016 Audi A4 Premium, about 162,000 miles. I am doing my first beginner track day and do not care about lap records. Besides fresh brake fluid, enough pad, good tires and torque checks, what is truly necessary versus internet overkill? I am trying to get the facts straight before spending money. What would you check next?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2016 Audi A4 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. On the 2016 Audi A4 in Phoenix, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “first hpde in a stock street car,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2016 Audi A4 in Phoenix with 162,000 miles. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
