2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S — anyone else: High transmission temperature after several hard laps

2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S, about 22,000 miles. After several laps the transmission temp rises enough that shifting behavior changes. Car cools down and works normally again. Looking for data points on cooling upgrades versus simply shortening sessions. I'm in Las Vegas. Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2017 Porsche 911 in Las Vegas, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “anyone else: high transmission temperature after several,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2017 Porsche 911 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'll update if anything new shows up.
