2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S — need advice: Engine swap packaging: offset versus driveline angle

Mocking up an engine/transmission in a chassis with very tight steering and footwell clearance. I can offset it slightly, but I don't want to create driveline vibration. What measurements should be locked down before making mounts?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2017 Porsche 911, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2017 Porsche 911 first. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
