2018 BMW 340i — 50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke?

2018 BMW 340i xDrive, about 118,500 miles. I just crossed 50k miles and want to log maintenance, unscheduled repairs, tire life, fuel economy, dealer visits, annoyances and whether I would buy the same car again.

I would not stare at the monthly. Two 2018 BMW 340i quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Yes, with one caveat: Ask for out-the-door on the 2018 BMW 340i with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. This is from a 2018 BMW 340i in Salt Lake City with 118,500 miles. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. A written buyer’s order on the 2018 BMW 340i is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. On “50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Any freeze-frame data saved? I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

PPI is scheduled. I'm not depositing until I see the 2018 BMW 340i notes. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

That's a good start, but I wouldn't stop there. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2018 BMW 340i price probably got worse. Then the comparison gets honest. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. Call your insurer in Salt Lake City before you fall in love with the 2018 BMW 340i. Do that before you talk monthly again. Did the worksheet show tax yet? I'd rather be boring and correct. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.
