2018 Cadillac CTS-V — rear end still feels floaty after new shocks

ColdStartWeekend566Community StarterApr 11, 20262018 Cadillac CTS-VOrlando
Shocks were replaced and there are no obvious loose parts, but the rear still feels vague over highway undulations. What alignment, bushing, tire or installation issues could mimic worn dampers? If I figure it out I will update the thread.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2018 Cadillac CTS-V in Orlando, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “v — rear end still feels floaty,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Any freeze-frame data saved? If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. That's my plan before I call anyone.
