2018 Ford F-150 — square wheel setup on a car that came staggered

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. 2018 Ford F-150 XLT 2.7 EcoBoost, about 73,500 miles. I am considering a square wheel/tire setup so I can rotate tires and simplify track spares. Besides clearance, what handling changes should I expect? I am in Salt Lake City. I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2018 Ford F-150 first. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd pick the setup I'll actually live with in slush. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2018 Ford F-150. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2018 Ford F-150 in Salt Lake City with 73,500 miles. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Same neighborhood, different next step: If Salt Lake City only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2018 Ford F-150 can be the saner daily. Then you'll know the next fork. On “150 — square wheel setup on a,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

Salt and cold mornings punish cheap shortcuts. If Salt Lake City only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2018 Ford F-150 can be the saner daily. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2018 Ford F-150 in Salt Lake City with 73,500 miles. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

I parked the 2018 Ford F-150 and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Agree — and I'd add this: In Salt Lake City, dedicated winters on the 2018 Ford F-150 paid off more than I expected on ice, even on plowed roads. That's where I'd start. On “150 — square wheel setup on a,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

This is a climate question as much as a tire question. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2018 Ford F-150. Then you'll know the next fork. That's the sequence I'd use. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
