2018 Kia Optima — dealer lowered price but added accessories back in

2018 Kia Optima EX, about 93,000 miles. We agreed on a vehicle price, then the worksheet included dealer-installed products I did not ask for. The total is now higher than before. What is the cleanest way to negotiate from an out-the-door number?

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Ask for out-the-door on the 2018 Kia Optima with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “dealer lowered price but added accessories back,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. If they get vague again I'm shopping the deal elsewhere.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. A written buyer’s order on the 2018 Kia Optima is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2018 Kia Optima in Raleigh with 93,000 miles. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I'd push back a little: I would not wire money until I've seen the 2018 Kia Optima and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

Quick update: a second 2018 Kia Optima quote made the first offer look ordinary. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2018 Kia Optima numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
