2018 Volvo S90 — engine fits but driveline angle is not ideal

2018 Volvo S90 T6, about 40,000 miles. Mock-up clears the steering and firewall, but getting the transmission output lined up perfectly would require moving the engine. How much should packaging be compromised to improve driveline geometry? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2018 Volvo S90 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. That's the sequence I'd use. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

No need to make it theatrical. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2018 Volvo S90 before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Did the worksheet show tax yet? Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Yes, with one caveat: On the 2018 Volvo S90 in Los Angeles, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start.
