2020 Kia Stinger — reliable cheap first car or newer car with warranty? — anyone dealt with this recently?

2020 Kia Stinger GT2, about 86,000 miles. I am trying to balance purchase price against downtime and surprise repairs. Would you put the same budget into an older proven car with cash left over, or a newer car with warranty coverage? I am in Tampa. Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2020 Kia Stinger, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2020 Kia Stinger in Tampa, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “reliable cheap first car or newer car,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
