2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class — brake fluid is old but still looks clean

2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class E450, about 62,000 miles. Fluid looks clear in the reservoir but has been in the car for several years. Would you change based on time/moisture rather than appearance?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd push back a little: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Agree — and I'd add this: On the 2020 Mercedes-Benz E-Class in Sacramento, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “benz e-class — brake fluid is old,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
