2021 Nissan Rogue — cPO badge versus independent PPI

2021 Nissan Rogue SV, about 27,000 miles. The dealer says the car passed the manufacturer CPO inspection and suggests an outside inspection is unnecessary. I like the warranty but still want an independent PPI. Overkill or sensible?

Get the messy numbers in writing first. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2021 Nissan Rogue numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “cpo badge versus independent ppi,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. I asked for the buyer’s order in email, not a text.

I would not stare at the monthly. Two 2021 Nissan Rogue quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.
