2021 Nissan Rogue — fuel trims are positive at idle and improve with RPM

TrackPilot272Community StarterMay 7, 20262021 Nissan Rogue SVFlorida
2021 Nissan Rogue SV, about 41,000 miles. Long-term fuel trims are much more positive at idle than at 2,500 RPM. No obvious misfire. Does that pattern still make an intake/vacuum leak the first place to look? I am in Florida. Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2021 Nissan Rogue, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Ask what changed right before it started. Two 2021 Nissan Rogues can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Capture voltage while the 2021 Nissan Rogue is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Save the big job until that test fails. On “fuel trims are positive at idle and,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2021 Nissan Rogue in Florida with 41,000 miles. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2021 Nissan Rogue catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Capture voltage while the 2021 Nissan Rogue is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. Save the big job until that test fails. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. I already checked the easy fluid levels.
