2022 Ford Maverick — how much reconditioning is worth doing before listing?

CommuterDetailerCommunity StarterFeb 23, 20262022 Ford Maverick XLT HybridDenver
2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid, about 14,500 miles. Car needs tires soon and has a few cosmetic issues. I am not sure whether spending money first will return more in the sale price. What repairs or detailing usually pay back and what should just be disclosed? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: A written buyer’s order on the 2022 Ford Maverick is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. On “how much reconditioning is worth doing before,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2022 Ford Maverick (14,500 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2022 Ford Maverick and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2022 Ford Maverick in Denver with 14,500 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. Going to compare one more dealer before I decide.
