2022 Ford Maverick — preventive cleaning of the hybrid battery cooling fan

The car carries pets and sees dusty conditions. Is inspecting or cleaning the battery cooling intake/fan a reasonable preventive job when the service procedure allows it? I am in Austin.

Ask what changed right before it started. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2022 Ford Maverick, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Save the big job until that test fails. This is from a 2022 Ford Maverick in Austin. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2022 Ford Maverick, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2022 Ford Maverick first. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Tried a second charger / second scan and the story on the 2022 Ford Maverick didn't change. I'll update if anything new shows up.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Move a coil or plug on the 2022 Ford Maverick if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2022 Ford Maverick in Austin. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

I went back under the 2022 Ford Maverick and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.
