2022 Tesla Model 3 — fast charging tapers earlier than it used to — anyone dealt with this recently?

2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range, about 60,500 miles. On comparable road trips the charge rate now starts tapering sooner. I am trying to separate charger sharing, battery temperature, software changes and actual battery health. I am in NYC.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2022 Tesla Model 3 so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2022 Tesla Model 3 — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. Then you'll know the next fork. No need to make it theatrical. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

Charge curves lie if you don't match starting SOC and temp. Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2022 Tesla Model 3 charge sessions. Then you'll know the next fork. No need to make it theatrical. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2022 Tesla Model 3, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “fast charging tapers earlier than it used,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' I'll poke at it this weekend.

Quick add on that: On the 2022 Tesla Model 3, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “fast charging tapers earlier than it used,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

Checked the easy stuff on the 2022 Tesla Model 3 and found one clue worth chasing before I book a shop. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

It did fast charging tapers earlier than it used twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. That's my plan before I call anyone.
