2023 Audi S5 Sportback — weird vibration only between 62–70 mph

2023 Audi S5 Sportback, about 62,000 miles. Car is smooth around town, but on the highway I get a vibration in the steering wheel and seat between about 62 and 70 mph. Above that it actually gets a little better. Tires look okay to me. Where would you start before I start throwing parts at it?

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Audi S5 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. This is from a 2023 Audi S5 in Texas with 62,000 miles. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.

Quick add on that: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2023 Audi S5, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “weird vibration only between 62–70 mph,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Monthly payment math is how wallets disappear. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

If it were in my driveway, two 2023 Audi S5s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2023 Audi S5 first. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Ask what changed right before it started. Two 2023 Audi S5s can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Capture voltage while the 2023 Audi S5 is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “weird vibration only between 62–70 mph,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Audi S5, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
