2023 BMW M340i xDrive — project car budget is already getting away from me

2023 BMW M340i xDrive, about 8,200 miles. Bought a cheap project because the shell was solid, and now the 'small stuff' list is longer than the drivetrain list. How do you guys prioritize safety/reliability, fabrication, cosmetics and power without rebuilding the car three times? I'm in New York. Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 BMW M340i owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. This is from a 2023 BMW M340i in New York with 8,200 miles. Any freeze-frame data saved? This is the version I'd tell a friend.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 BMW M340i before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. The universe charges extra for guessing. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.
