2023 Genesis G70 — rolling negative equity into another car

Current car is worth less than the payoff and I need something different. Dealer says they can roll the difference into the new loan. I am trying to understand how ugly the math gets before doing that.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Genesis G70 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. That's the part that actually changes the decision. This is from a 2023 Genesis G70 in Austin. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2023 Genesis G70 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2023 Genesis G70 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2023 Genesis G70 numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “rolling negative equity into another car,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2023 Genesis G70 in Austin. Any freeze-frame data saved? If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

If I were shopping this, i would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Genesis G70 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2023 Genesis G70 and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Not wiring anything in the meantime.
