2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 — anyone else: Coolant is old by time but low mileage

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4, about 22,000 miles. Car only has 32k miles but the coolant is several years old. Would you change it based on age alone? I'm trying to prioritize maintenance that matters rather than replacing everything early.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 and see if the fault moves. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. The universe charges extra for guessing. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

This is from a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 in Texas with 22,000 miles. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

I'd push back a little: Get a real battery/charging test on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Yes, with one caveat: A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 is losing coolant with no puddle. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Checking again after work.

Log the conditions before you spend. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “anyone else: coolant is old by time,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. Next check is the cheap one I can do in a driveway.
