2023 GMC Sierra 1500 — pPI found $1,800 of upcoming work

Inspection found several real maintenance items but nothing catastrophic. I still like the car. Do you treat the shop estimate as a dollar-for-dollar negotiation point or just decide whether the asking price still makes sense? If I figure it out I will update the thread.

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. A written buyer’s order on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I'd rather be boring and correct. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If one piece looks too good on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Not letting add-ons ride along because everyone does.

I'd slow the salesperson down here. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. No need to make it theatrical. Not wiring anything in the meantime.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. No need to make it theatrical. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.
