2023 Rivian R1T Quad-Motor — anyone else: Battery keeps dying after two or three days parked

Battery tested okay at a parts store, but if the car sits for a weekend it sometimes won't crank. Alternator voltage looks normal while running. How would you narrow down a parasitic draw without pulling every fuse blindly? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Update: the cheap test changed the symptom, so I'm not throwing parts yet. Only after sitting overnight so far.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2023 Rivian R1T does it — then decide on parts. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

Log the conditions before you spend. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Rivian R1T, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. Save the big job until that test fails. On “motor — anyone else: battery keeps dying,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Two 2023 Rivian R1Ts can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. That's the branch I'd chase this week. This is from a 2023 Rivian R1T in Charlotte. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? I'll poke at it this weekend.

Asking because it changes the advice: If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2023 Rivian R1T, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Was this after sitting overnight? A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Wrote this up on my lunch break.
