2024 Buick Envision Avenir — need advice: How far do you go preserving originality on a driver?

2024 Buick Envision Avenir, about 37,000 miles. The car is mostly original but I actually want to use it. I'm torn between period-correct repairs and upgrades like better brakes, cooling and charging. Where do you draw the line on a driver rather than a concours car?

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2024 Buick Envision — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. That's where I'd start. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2024 Buick Envision charge sessions. Then you'll know the next fork. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.
