2024 Buick Envision — driver seat clicks during left-right transitions — anyone dealt with this recently?

2024 Buick Envision Avenir, about 27,500 miles. I can feel a small click through the seat base in corners. Mounting bolts appear tight and power functions work. How do you isolate rail play versus the frame or motor mechanism?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Buick Envision owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2024 Buick Envision first. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Buick Envision, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Buick Envision before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Following up on driver seat clicks during left-right transitions —: still happening, but I have better notes now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

This is from a 2024 Buick Envision in Chicago with 27,500 miles. No need to make it theatrical. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Agree — and I'd add this: On the 2024 Buick Envision in Chicago, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “driver seat clicks during left-right transitions —,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Buick Envision in Chicago with 27,500 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Buick Envision before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I parked the 2024 Buick Envision and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Yes, with one caveat: A second data point from another 2024 Buick Envision owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. That's the sequence I'd use. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
