2024 Ford F-150 — how much does an old accident hurt resale?

2024 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost, about 23,500 miles. Car was repaired well after a moderate accident and drives straight. I am trying to price it honestly several years later. How much do buyers usually discount history compared with equivalent clean-history cars? I am in Bay Area.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Ford F-150 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. On “150 — how much does an old,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Asking because it changes the advice: Two 2024 Ford F-150 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Compare apples to apples or you'll get spun. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Ford F-150 is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” If they balk, that's your answer. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I hear you, though I'd still want a second check. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Ford F-150 numbers without them. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “150 — how much does an old,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Stop there until you know. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

OP here. Still looking, but I'm waiting on inspection notes before I send money on the 2024 Ford F-150. Doc fee is the line I'm watching.
