2024 Ford F-150 — payload sticker changed my whole truck-shopping plan

I was focused on tow rating until I added passengers, cargo and tongue weight. Payload looks like the real constraint. How much buffer do you leave in a family towing setup?

I parked the 2024 Ford F-150 and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Quick add on that: A second data point from another 2024 Ford F-150 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Ford F-150 in Denver. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Ford F-150 in Denver, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “150 — payload sticker changed my whole,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Do that first. That's my plan before I call anyone.
