2024 Ford Mustang — dealer lowered price but added accessories back in

2024 Ford Mustang GT, about 30,500 miles. We agreed on a vehicle price, then the worksheet included dealer-installed products I did not ask for. The total is now higher than before. What is the cleanest way to negotiate from an out-the-door number?

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Ford Mustang is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” Do that before you talk monthly again. On “dealer lowered price but added accessories back,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Did the worksheet show tax yet? If GAP is bundled I'm making them unbundle it.

Yes, with one caveat: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Ford Mustang so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Stop there until you know. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

I asked about dealer lowered price but added accessories back again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Ford Mustang and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. When does it actually happen? Doc fee is the line I'm watching.
