2024 Ford Mustang — how much room below MSRP when inventory is normal?

I am shopping a new car with several similar units sitting nearby. Dealer started at MSRP plus fees. What is the best way to use competing written quotes without turning the process into endless back-and-forth? Mostly looking for the right next step.

One thing that mattered for me: in Salt Lake City, I care more about the thing I will notice every day than the spec-sheet extra.
