2024 Kia EV9 — battery dies after the car sits for a weekend

2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line, about 33,000 miles. Battery passes a quick test and charging voltage looks normal, but after two or three days parked the car sometimes will not crank. What is the cleanest parasitic-draw test on a modern car that takes time to go to sleep? I am in Charlotte.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 Kia EV9, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

Log the conditions before you spend. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2024 Kia EV9 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Save the big job until that test fails. On “battery dies after the car sits for,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2024 Kia EV9 first. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Ask what changed right before it started. Move a coil or plug on the 2024 Kia EV9 if it's cylinder-specific and see whether the code follows. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. Heat soak after errands is the other window.
