2024 Kia EV9 — buzzing noise only at one engine RPM — Cleveland owner

TorqueMomCommunity StarterApr 26, 20262024 Kia EV9 GT-LineCleveland
2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line, about 33,500 miles. There is a light buzz from the dash at one narrow RPM range. It disappears above and below that speed. Any good method for locating trim resonance without randomly adding foam everywhere? I am in Cleveland.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Kia EV9, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Kia EV9 in Cleveland, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “buzzing noise only at one engine rpm,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Kia EV9 before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. No need to make it theatrical. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
