2024 Kia EV9 — factory order status has not moved in weeks

SleeperOwner672Community StarterAug 6, 20262024 Kia EV9 GT-LineAustin
2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line, about 46,000 miles. Dealer gave me an order/reference number but the status has been unchanged for weeks. For people who have ordered cars, what updates are meaningful versus normal waiting between milestones? I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Kia EV9 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Was this after sitting overnight? This is the version I'd tell a friend.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Kia EV9 before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. No need to make it theatrical. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Kia EV9, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Just my two cents from doing this recently. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

This is from a 2024 Kia EV9 in Austin with 46,000 miles. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I'd rather be boring and correct. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Kia EV9 in Austin, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. Then you'll know the next fork. On “factory order status has not moved in,” that was the fork that mattered for me. That's the whole play. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
