2024 Kia EV9 — going one inch smaller for winter wheels — anyone dealt with this recently?

I want smaller winter wheels for more sidewall. Overall tire diameter can stay close, but I am worried about caliper and spoke clearance. What measurements should be checked before ordering? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

This is a climate question as much as a tire question. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Kia EV9. That's where I'd start. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

I'd pick the setup I'll actually live with in slush. Watch brake clearance and overall diameter if you downsize winter wheels on the 2024 Kia EV9. I'd do that before spending real money. On “going one inch smaller for winter wheels,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd push back a little: If Boston only sees a few real storms, a good all-weather on the 2024 Kia EV9 can be the saner daily. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2024 Kia EV9 in Boston. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Checking again after work.
