2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line — need advice: Driver-assistance camera needs calibration after windshield

2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line, about 62,000 miles. New windshield is in and shop says the camera needs calibration. Car drives fine and no warning is showing. Would you still do the calibration immediately, and does static vs dynamic calibration matter? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Kia EV9 in Ohio, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. I'd do that before spending real money. On “line — need advice: driver-assistance camera needs,” that was the fork that mattered for me. The universe charges extra for guessing. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2024 Kia EV9 before a big repair or a big spend. That's where I'd start. Stop there until you know. Worth doing even if the car feels fine right now. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Kia EV9, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. The universe charges extra for guessing. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
