2024 Kia EV9 — is this actually a good used-car deal?

PistonShopperCommunity StarterDec 10, 20252024 Kia EV9 GT-LineBrooklyn
2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line, about 22,500 miles. The online price looks competitive, but I am trying to judge the entire deal rather than the headline number. What should I compare besides mileage, history, condition and a PPI before deciding what it is worth? Mostly looking for the right next step.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2024 Kia EV9 (22,500 miles) and the doc fee was the tell. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. GAP, paint, and nitrogen are optional until you run the 2024 Kia EV9 numbers without them. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. This is from a 2024 Kia EV9 in Brooklyn with 22,500 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. Two 2024 Kia EV9 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2024 Kia EV9 in Brooklyn with 22,500 miles. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Calling insurance in the morning before I reply to the desk.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Brooklyn changed the 2024 Kia EV9 comparison more than the sale price did. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Kia EV9 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “is this actually a good used-car deal,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Kia EV9 in Brooklyn with 22,500 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Kia EV9 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. Not convinced that's the whole story. Two 2024 Kia EV9 quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Did the worksheet show tax yet? This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

If I were shopping this, if they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Kia EV9 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

I asked about is this actually a good used-car deal again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
