I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Capture voltage while the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is actually failing — after it restarts you've lost the clue. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Only after sitting overnight so far.

Fair point. Counterpoint: A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is losing coolant with no puddle. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Cold start is when I can actually reproduce it.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Two 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Classs can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. A pressure test beats staring at a dry driveway if the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is losing coolant with no puddle. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. On “benz c-class — short-trip driving and oil-change,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class in Dallas with 27,500 miles. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.

Quick add on that: Loaded-suspension checks on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “benz c-class — short-trip driving and oil-change,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. This is the filter I use when the thread starts repeating itself. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Not convinced that's the whole story. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Save the big job until that test fails. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

I went back under the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and it only happens after a heat soak, not on a cold start. I'll poke at it this weekend.

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Checked the easy stuff on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and found one clue worth chasing before I book a shop. I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.

Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. That's the branch I'd chase this week. Do that first. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

If it were in my driveway, swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and see if the fault moves. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. When does it actually happen? I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

It did benz c-class — short-trip driving and oil-change twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Cleared nothing. I want service to see the alert on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class first. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Ask what changed right before it started. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class does it — then decide on parts. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. Parking it somewhere I can hear it better next time.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Swap the cheap/easy piece first on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-Class and see if the fault moves. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “benz c-class — short-trip driving and oil-change,” that was the fork that mattered for me. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. Not driving it hard until I know more.
