2024 Mitsubishi Outlander — preventive cleaning of the hybrid battery cooling fan

The car carries pets and sees dusty conditions. Is inspecting or cleaning the battery cooling intake/fan a reasonable preventive job when the service procedure allows it?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
