2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor — question: Rental-platform car came back with damage that wasn't obvious at pickup

2024 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor, about 22,000 miles. Small damage was noticed after the handoff photos were reviewed. For hosts, what inspection/photo workflow actually makes claims easier without turning every pickup into a 30-minute process? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Polestar 2 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Asking because it changes the advice: If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Polestar 2, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Polestar 2 in Philadelphia, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “question: rental-platform car came back with damage,” that was the fork that mattered for me. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. Climate here is different, so treat that as a local data point. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Useful. I'll report back after I verify that on my 2024 Polestar 2. Doing the boring step first on purpose.

Quick add on that: A second data point from another 2024 Polestar 2 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
