2025 Lucid Air Pure — fast charging slows down earlier than it used to

DetailGarage95Community StarterJun 28, 20262025 Lucid Air PureCharlotte
2025 Lucid Air Pure, about 118,000 miles. On road trips the car used to hold a higher charge rate longer. Now it starts tapering sooner even when the pack is warm. Could this be charger-side variation, battery temperature, software, or an actual battery-health issue? Appreciate any ideas on what to check first.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2025 Lucid Air so service can see what you saw. That's where I'd start. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. Video is ugly but it shows the hesitation.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2025 Lucid Air, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. Then you'll know the next fork. On “fast charging slows down earlier than it,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. I already checked the easy fluid levels.

Quick add on that: On the 2025 Lucid Air, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “fast charging slows down earlier than it,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2025 Lucid Air in Charlotte with 118,000 miles. Just my two cents from doing this recently. Heat soak after errands is the other window.

Fair point. Counterpoint: Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Lucid Air — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. I'd do that before spending real money. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2025 Lucid Air — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. That's where I'd start. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? Checking again after work.
