2025 Porsche Macan — fast charging tapers earlier than it used to — Northern Virginia owner question

RoadHunterCommunity StarterMay 10, 20262025 Porsche Macan Electric 4SNorthern Virginia
2025 Porsche Macan Electric 4S, about 11,500 miles. On comparable road trips the charge rate now starts tapering sooner. I am trying to separate charger sharing, battery temperature, software changes and actual battery health. Mostly looking for the right next step.

If it were in my driveway, loaded-suspension checks on the 2025 Porsche Macan catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. That's the branch I'd chase this week. This is from a 2025 Porsche Macan in Northern Virginia with 11,500 miles. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'd rather be boring and correct. I keep a notes app thread for this now.

Ask what changed right before it started. If a shop can't duplicate it on the 2025 Porsche Macan, bring a video plus freeze-frame data, not just a story. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Intermittent stuff lies if you only catch it once. Get a real battery/charging test on the 2025 Porsche Macan, not just resting voltage, before blaming a module. If the cheap test changes it, stop and reassess. On “fast charging tapers earlier than it used,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. Trying not to diagnose from the couch.
