2025 Porsche Macan — tires or pads first for a beginner autocross season?

This started as a small annoyance and I finally decided to track it down. Budget allows one meaningful upgrade. Current street tires are decent and brakes are standard replacements. Which upgrade helps a new driver learn more before adding other parts?

I wouldn't throw parts yet. Two 2025 Porsche Macans can feel identical and have different causes, so measure before you copy someone else's repair. That's the branch I'd chase this week. When does it actually happen? This is the version I'd tell a friend.

It did tires or pads first for a beginner twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Heat soak after errands is the other window.
