Anyone else: Ceramic-coated car still picked up light swirls

2023 Rivian R1T Quad-Motor, about 118,000 miles. Coating looks glossy and beads well, but I still picked up light marring over time. I think my wash/dry process is the problem. What part of the routine causes the most avoidable contact?

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2023 Rivian R1T so service can see what you saw. I'd do that before spending real money. Do that first. That's my plan before I call anyone.

Asking because it changes the advice: Match starting SOC and battery temp if you're comparing 2023 Rivian R1T charge sessions. That's where I'd start. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. Not interested in a five-hour wait for a shrug.

I'd treat 12V warnings as a no-ignore. On the 2023 Rivian R1T, I'd get the 12V/DC-DC side checked even if the traction pack looks fine. I'd do that before spending real money. On “ceramic-coated car still picked up light swirls,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2023 Rivian R1T in Las Vegas with 118,000 miles. If they can't show the line item, I assume it's hiding. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. If it repeats twice more I'll book time.

Low-voltage gremlins will strand you even with a full pack. Try a second charger before blaming the 2023 Rivian R1T — site sharing and pack temp change the curve a lot. Then you'll know the next fork. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Doing the boring step first on purpose.
